Douglas Gilbert will be exhibiting at Biennial Two, a premier juried exhibition celebrating artistic excellence and innovation. This marks Gilbert’s first time showing in New Hampshire.
Juried by Bruce McColl, Curator of Regional Art and Interpretation at the Currier Museum of Art, the exhibition will feature a piece that encapsulates the subtle interplay in Gilbert’s practice between realism and abstraction, adopting an impressionistic style that evokes mood as powerfully as it depicts subject.

Regional Juried Fine Art Show

From September 27 through October 26, 2025, Douglas Gilbert will be featured in a Regional Juried Fine Art Show at the Spencertown Academy Arts Center, curated by Karen Andrews, Norma Cohen, David Lesako, Alice McGowan, Susan Sabino and Munya Avigail Upin.
Jurors: Ian Berry (Director of The Tang Teaching Museum) and Sienna Patti (Sienna Patti Contemporary).
The exhibition explores the theme of memory through a wide range of traditional media and artistic styles. Gilbert contributes new work that continues his distinctive fusion of abstraction, figuration, and expressionism.
